Day 1

All of us have different feelings towards this trip.

We are finally flying off to Kunming! Everybody must be feeling very excited!
We alighted the first plane in BangKok, and we had a mini amazing race. A race that all of us, 34 students and 7 teachers were running across the BangKok terminal to catch the plane to fly to Kunming!
Nope, its not a plane, but a bus! :D
So, someone in the group asked, 'are we going to ride the bus from Bangkok all the way to Kunming?'
We felt that although what we are after for was not what we expected, but there would always be a reason behind it, and we have to learn how to appreciate it.
When we first landed on Kunming, we were warmly greeted by the Principals and school staffs that specially came to the airport to welcome us with roses that made us feel that we are like part of them.

We were consider very fortunate compared to the kids in other countries. We saw many disheartening accidents happening. A boy was unable to sell off his flowers and he got beaten by a lady under a tree in front of everyone. We have never sold flowers in our childhood, neither did we talk to strangers when we were four year old. This is what we feel that we have to really appreciate the environment around us.
